Dubai is considered to be the biggest place where almost all nationalities live.

You might be able to wear what you want without being arrested. At the same time you should consider wearing clothes without being disrespectful to the local culture.

 

The people who lives in Dubai, are not allowed to wear the clothes which is too revealing. It doesn’t mean completely covered, but the dressing should be in a proper standard.

There is no rule to cover your head across all places other than Mosques.

 When you would like to enter in a mosqueo, always remove the shoes from legs and women must cover the whole body exempt hands and their face.

Since Dubai is a Muslim country the month of Ramadan is considered to be the sacred period for Muslims. Muslims fast during these 30 days. On those days, people are not allowed to eat and drink in public areas.

Clothes should be selected as per the monthly climatic conditions.

If it is too hot select light cotton cloths, carry sun glass and sun protection creams to resist the UV rays.

During winter season you should wear a sweater or jackets to feel comfortable, especially during outdoor activities.

What can women wear in Dubai?

The foreigners who live in Dubai should respect the culture and tradition of UAE – United Arab Emirates .

Since Dubai in UAE is a Muslim country, avoid wearing micro/mini skits and open shoulder or backless dresses. You should also avoid clothing that is too tight or see through. Cleavage should also be covered as much as possible.

In government buildings and mosques it is strict to cover from shoulder to knees which is not very hard to follow.
