RAK Zoo was opened in 23 September 2014.
- The zoo is located in Al Dagdaga, Al Fahlain close to Saqr Park & Dagdaga in Ras Al Khaimah.
- The approximate time to reach the RAK Zoo from Dubai is 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Opening hours of RAK Zoo are 9 am to 10 pm, throughout the week

RAK Zoo is the third-largest zoo in the UAE, after Al Ain Zoo and the Emirates Park Zoo in Abu Dhabi. The Zoo is owned by Jasim Ali, General Commander of RAK Police, and was built on an area of 1 million square metres.
