Al Seef Street, a key DSF destination is decked up with a wonderful array of activities, inviting families from all over the world to enjoy the fun-packed festivities. From spectacular fireworks to a wide array of cultural shows – an exciting mélange of must-see events is taking over the celebrations at Al Seef Street this DSF.
Families eager to learn more about the Bedouin people and their ways of living can step into the Bedouin Lifestyle, a popular event Al Seef Street, to discover a plethora of interesting facts about nomads from 12 different countries including Algeria, Kenya, Jordan, Egypt, Mauritania, India, Yemen, Sudan, Mali, Burkina Faso, Morocco and Niger. Each country is also showcasing their mesmerizing musical beats and lively dance practices during a daily show every day throughout the DSF.
Al Seef Street will be the stage for an array of activities and events for the whole family. Daily activities are scheduled on Al Seef Street throughout the entire month, and today’s events include:
DSF Carnival – 8pm
As the vibrant and colourful face of the festival, DSF Carnivals at Al Seef Street is a fascinating display by hundreds of performers including jugglers, stilt walkers, unicyclists, and musicians who will showcase the festive feeling of DSF and reflect the this year’s theme, “One World – One Family – One Festival”.
World of Souvenirs – 5pm – 10pm
A corner of Al Seef Road will host the World of Souvenirs with several stalls and kiosks, each representing a particular country, including the US, the UK, Brazil, France, China, India, Turkey and the Africa continent, in addition to the host country, the UAE.
Tea Oasis – 5pm – 10pm
The event will feature a tea market where visitors can buy the best from an eclectic collection of teas from all the major tea growing and consuming countries of the world.
Children’s Entertainment Zone – 5pm – 10pm
The Redemption Games Fun
Fair Area – 5pm – 10pm
Floating Restaurants – 5pm – 10pm
Fireworks (Dubai Creek, opposite Al Seef Street) – 8.30pm (Sunday – Thursday)
Colour and light is what festivals are all about and DSF 2013 will have plenty of both, as the Dubai night sky comes alive with some of the best pyrotechnics from world-renowned experts. The city’s unparalleled skyline will be lit up by sparks and showers from fireworks shows every evening during the festival at the Al Seef Street area
