DSF Night Souk – Al Rigga Street by Al Ghurair-One of the best way to enjoy Dubai Shopping Festival 2013 in Dubai is to visit Al Riqqa (Al Rigga)Street. During Dubai Shopping Festival, this street completely turn into the fun street and became one of the best attraction during the DSF festivities.
Flashback: Years ago Al Rigga street in Dubai was just another street, with 5 – 10 or more storeys buildings on both sides for residential or offices. The main and only attraction of this street was Al Ghurair Shopping Mall. Nothing else. You visit this mall, and that’s all. But as years progress on, and Dubai booming, business also boomed in this area, strating with hotels around the street and even on the same street.
Dubai Shopping Festival Activities at Al Rigga Street:
Night Souk, Circus, Fun Fair grounds where rides and games are located. Entertainment at its best stage – different live shows are conducted for Free as long as you are there during the show. This stage is located at the Al Rigga Street night souk. Which is located just beside the Al Ghurair Shopping Mall. Behind the stage is Fun Fair ground for children which facing Al Ghurair. There is another one on the other side of the road, for both children and adults to enjoy the rides and games with lots of prizes to win.
Numerous retail outlets display various brands and remain open late till after midnight to give shoppers a unique shopping experience. Goods on sale include watches, bags, clothes, electronics, jewellery, home appliances, and much more. Apart from excellent bargains, the Night Souk hosts various eats and treats so that visitors can conveniently grab a quick bite and enjoy as they indulge in long hours of shopping at leisure.
