The multiplex cinema opened in May 2105 as a part of the redevelopment of Burjuman shopping mall.
The new 14-screen cinema will seat 1,360 people at full capacity, increasing the company’s footprint to a total of 111 screens across the UAE and 143 across the region (including Oman and Lebanon).
The cinema boasts 14 screens and can accommodate almost 1400 moviegoers. Four of the theaters are in the vox gold category, eight are vox standard, one is vox max and one is for kids.
Vox gold is a premium VIP category. The theaters are smaller and offer luxury seats, exclusive food and drink options and a dedicated lounge.
The vox max theater boasts large format screen and Dolby digital surround sound.
Vox kids is a small boutique cinema designed specially for children. The lights are not dimmed and seats are colorful. It is also available for private hire.
