UAE SWAT CHALLENGE 2023
UAE SWAT Challenge, International Edition, is an annual competition of law enforcement SWAT(special weapons and tactics)teams on a global level. The Challenge focuses on creating an interaction, cooperation and exchange of ideas. It is also an opportunity to test tactical skills, mental focus and physical endurance possessed by the SWAT teams. The UAE SWAT Challenge is hosted by the Dubai Police and will take place at Al Rowaiyah Range, Dubai, UAE from Monday 20th-24th February 2023.
There are around 36 teams participating in the SWAT Challenge 2023. There will be 5 Challenge Categories designed to test their efficiency and readiness to combat challenges. The Event is open to the public and they can watch it on television from 8am-6pm February 20th-24th, 2023. Visitors can participate for an exciting experience in the Visitor’s SWAT Challenge located in the SWAT Village. Visitors can also embrace heritage and other traditional crafts, dresses at the Heritage Village.

- The Event will be open to the public and they can watch it on television from 8 am-6 pm
- All bags to be carried in will be thoroughly checked by the security
- Upon reaching the entry desk, free ear plugs will be provided
- Visitors can reach the challenge areas only by walking.

What does SWAT do all day?
The SWAT Team is called upon to respond to the service of high-risk search and arrest warrants. Incidents involving barricaded suspects, hostage rescues, active shooters, crowd control and other situations requiring resources beyond the capacity of the patrol division.
Does Dubai have SWAT?
Yes, Dubai has got its first all-women SWAT team. This was revealed by the Dubai Police General Command, as part of its efforts to empower women across all policing disciplines.
