Saudi National Day 2024- Also known as Al-Yaom-ul-Watany
In 2024, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will celebrate the 94th Saudi National Day. The Kingdom celebrates National Day with folk music, dances, and customary celebrations. Saudi flags adorn the buildings and roadways. “This is our home” is the theme for Saudi National Day 2024.
When is Saudi National Day?
September 23rd is always the day of Saudi Arabia’s National Day celebration. Known as Al-Yaom-ul-Watany in the local dialect, it commemorates the announcement made by King Abdulaziz on September 23, 1932, that the country would be united as a monarchy.
Sunday will be a public holiday in lieu of Saturday if the National Day falls on that day. The Thursday prior will be a holiday if it occurs on a Friday. There won’t be an additional day of pay if these adjustments fall on a holiday.
