Photography Award by Dubai Police- Hemaya Clip Award (HIPA)
The Hemaya Clip Award – Photography Award by Dubai Police, was an initiative that was launched by Dubai Police General Headquarters in 2019 to attract spread awareness about the dangers of consuming illegal drugs and prevention methods in various security fields.
The Dubai Police Hemaya International Centre, under the patronage of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, has launched the 2nd edition of the Hemaya Clip Contest in cooperation with Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA).

What are the objectives of HIPA 2023?
The Dubai Police Award for the Best Awareness Video of Photography in the Security Field, also known as Hemaya Clip, targets students of universities, institutes and colleges to address various security and police challenges that would make the youth in producing more creative clips.
Ali Khalifa bin Thalith, Secretary General of HIPA stated that the first edition exceeded their expectation and witnessed a positive interaction from the photographers community. He also mentioned that creativity was shaped in the hands of the youth and this could provide them with an opportunity to unleash their imagination and share their best ideas.
What are the categories of Hemaya Clip Award 2023?
The contest focuses on three key categories: Cybersecurity, Digital Content and Drug prevention from which the participants can choose. The duration of the clip should be of 60 seconds and the number of photos allowed is a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10.
When is the date of submission?
Submissions will be accepted from 10:00 am 10th March, 2023 to 12.00 am on 31st March, 2023 in UAE local time. Submissions made after the deadline will not be accepted.
