Mother of the Nation Festival Abu Dhabi Corniche 2019 is a huge festival with an array of exciting and fun-filled activities. It is organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism. This year it ties in with the Special Olympics World Games 2019 and has Cirque du Soleil’s new show Bazzar as part of it.
The Festival pays tribute to the living legacy of the original ‘Mother of the Nation’, H H Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation & General Women’s Union and President of the Supreme Council of Motherhood and Childhood.
Mother of the Nation Festival Abu Dhabi Corniche 2019 provides a wide range of high-quality entertainment programmes, live music performances, dining & retail offers and workshops. The Festival will feature more than 120 world-class performances, 50 musical acts, appetizing dining experiences and over 30 shopping outlets. It would be a leisure zone for the entire family to enjoy over the course of 12 days. The Festival campaign will represent the spirit of the “Year of Tolerance” through a number of activites.

Special Olympics Zone includes:
The Special Olympics Zone will host the Beach Volleyball event from March 12-20. There are teams from ten countries will compete in a four-on-four style tournament, two Special Olympics athletes and two Unified partners in each team.
The timings of Special Olympics :
4:30 PM – Special Olympics Zone Opens
9:00 PM – Beach Volleyball Competition Starts
5:30 PM – Beach Volleyball Competition Ends
8:30 PM – Special Olympics Zone Ends

Where to park Vehicles & what are the transportation facilities for Mother of the Nation Festival Abu Dhabi Corniche 2019?
- Free parking available across the street from the Corniche in front of Nation Towers on a first-come-first-served basis
- Supplementary Spaces will be available at the nearby Marina Mall
- Regular Shuttle bus service will provide free transport for visitors to Entrance C (Progress Zone and Special Olympics Zone)
- Buses will run every 20 minutes until 12:30 am, starting from 3:45 pm (Sunday – Wednesday) and 1:45 pm (Thursday – Saturday)
- Discounted Uber rides are also available for those travelling to and from the Festival using code MOTN2019, offers a 30% discount on six rides per user till March 26 (up to AED 30 off per ride).
