Madar Aljada Sharjah, a new leisure destination loaded with an array of family-friendly entertainment and excitement. It is located in the heart of the Aljada megaproject in the Muwaileh district of Sharjah, and landscaped 600,000 square foot park. The project exhibits the design by Zaha Hadid Architects that comprises the prominent elliptical buildings.
The first phase of Madar features live performances from artists, sportspeople and musicians. The theme of the first weekend will be ‘cultural fusion’, comedy, music, food, gaming, film and more
Attractions:
1. Zad
A food hub which has 18 different brands selling wide range of contemporary cuisines. Zad is surrounded by greenery and each zone have ample space with social picnic area & great seating. Each outlet is encased in a redesigned shipping container, with popular coffee startup, gelato café Amorino, Sushi Station and more.
2. YourSpace
YourSpace is a fully-fledged events hall to hire either all or part of the venue, and will host studios, exhibitions, markets and conferences. Madar’s Amphitheatre has a maximum capacity of 500 people, to host film screenings, markets, parties & musical performances.
3. Playscape
Playscape comprises a fascinating and exciting children’s adventure zone, that includes tower frames, swings, embedded trampolines and slides. It also consists of climbing wall and activity nets.
4. Skatepark
Skatepark, a spot for adventure sports enthusiasts, designed by the students from the American University of Sharjah. It is an architectural structure developed to offer shade and a communal area for residents & visitors to Aljada.
5. Aljada Discovery Centre
Aljada Discovery Centre is designed by Zaha Hadid Architects showcases a wide range of facilities and attractions including a large public square, an extreme sports centre, an ‘edutainment’ complex, two retail zones, an 11-screen cinema and a large community park.
