Holiday Events, Festivals & Mega Sales: Dubai 2020, the coming year marks the 25th DSF and Expo 2020. The DSF will start on December 26, 2019 and will run until February 1, 2020, and will include a wide range of concerts by Emirati & international singers, cultural & family-oriented performances, stand-up comedy shows & street carnivals. There will be spectacular fireworks shows. The shopping festival will take place across 38 days, and sales of up to 90 % across more than 3,500 retail outlets.
The visitors can participate in the daily raffles offering exciting prizes. The Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE) aims to position Dubai as an international events & entertainment hub and increase competitiveness as a retail destination through festivals and promotions.
The 2020 Retail Calendar will include the following festivals and events:
Dubai Shopping Festival
Date: December 26, 2019 – February 1, 2020
DSF is the world’s biggest shopping festival and will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year, includes wide range of shopping & entertainment activities.
Russian Holidays
Date: 4-12 January, 2020
It features various events & promotions organised for residents and tourists.
Chinese New Year
Date: 25 January – 1 February, 2020
The celebration includes entertainment, events, fireworks, cultural activities & promotions across malls.
DSF Final Weekend Sale
Date: 30 January – 1 February 2020
The retailers can attain bigger promotions & sales and last-minute shoppers to pocket good bargains.
Spring/Summer Collections and Fall/Winter Collections
Date: 5-21 March, 2020(Spring collections)
Date: 2-15 October, 2020(Winter collections)
These events aims to increase sales, support retailers, and showcasing the latest fashion lines from local and global brands with special offers.
Dubai Home Festival
Date: 9-23 April, 2020
The Dubai Home Festival aims to boost the homeware sector with special promotions, by giving young designers a platform to showcase their products & innovations
Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr in Dubai
Date: 24 April – 27 May, 2020
The “Ramadan in Dubai” features the social, cultural, and spiritual initiative that celebrates the values of the Holy month as Eid Al Fitr in Dubai will feature events & promotions to celebrate the special occasion.
3 Day Super Sale in May and October 2020
It features retail outlets exhibiting major local & international brands across the city, offering major reductions of up to 90 per cent.

Dubai Summer Surprises Final Weekend Sale

Date: 9 August – 5 September
