Etihad Union Museum is a unique and iconic museum dedicated to exhibit the holistic story of the nation’s development from pre-union throughout the full time span of unity. The project location has historical context, located adjacent to Union House, the location of the signing of the 1971 agreement between the Trucial States and hence the formation of the United Arab Emirates.

The museum itself consists of a pavilion building of approx. 2,000 m² as well as a large underground museum section of some 10,000 m² that accommodates the museum galleries and a so-called Education Centre. The pavilion building above the ground is embedded in a garden landscape.

- Pavilion Six: An homage to the important moments and challenges confronted the founding fathers before 1971.
- Pavilion Seven: This will be dedicated to the UAE Constitution and will include the actual declaration itself.
- Pavilion Eight: The final pavilion will be an open gallery celebrating the new born nation.
