Two locations have already confirmed the dates and timings of their firework shows for Eid al-Fitr 2023. Corniche and Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi and Bluewaters and Al Seef in Dubai will announce their schedules soon.
Dubai Parks and Resorts:
Dubai Parks and Resorts is another fantastic destination to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 2023 with your family and friends. The location boasts several amusement parks and has scheduled two separate fireworks displays on April 22nd, commencing at 7 pm and 9 pm.
Yas Island:
Yas Island is one of the top destinations in Abu Dhabi to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 2023 with your loved ones. You can witness the firework show from Yas Bay at 9 pm on Eid’s first and second nights. Visitors can also enjoy exciting activities such as meet-and-greets with Emirati cartoon characters at Lapita Hotel. A light show at MotionGate and Dino Mania will run from April 21, 2023, at 8 pm throughout the Eid weekend.
Firework Regulations:
While fireworks are a staple of Eid al-Fitr celebrations, it’s essential to be mindful of the regulations surrounding their use in the UAE. UAE’s Public Prosecution reminded people that there are strict rules and regulations for lighting fireworks. Before setting off any fireworks, individuals must obtain a permit from a licensing entity. Setting off fireworks shows without a permit can result in imprisonment and/or a monetary penalty of not less than Dh50,000. Police have warned people, especially parents, about the dangers of using illegal firecrackers during celebrations.
