The Dubai Moonlight classic is a professional women’s tournament. It is the first time an event from the ladies’ European tour has been held in the Middle East. In 2006, the event was held for the first time. It is one of the LET’S most valuable tournaments in terms of money. This event attracts the best players from all over the world. It is the first day-night professional golf event. Annika Sorenstam, a ten-time winner, played her final game at this event before retiring. After winning the first two events in 2006 and 2007, the Swede ended her illustrious career in 2008. There is a lot at stake with a $290,000 bonus pool for the top three finishers.
