Dubai Design Week is an occasion for regional design and a driving force behind the expansion of Dubai’s creative community. It is organized under the gracious patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture). Large-scale installations, new commissions, exhibits, pop-ups, conferences, workshops, a weekend market, and Downtown Design, the premier design show in the area, are just a few of the varied events and activities that take place during Dubai Design Week.
When is Dubai Design Week?
The planned date of the 10th edition of Dubai Design Week is from 5-10 November 2024. Over 500 designers, architects, and business experts attended the six-day event in the 2023 edition. And the highlight of the event is, you can attend it without spending any single dirham.
Where is the Dubai Design Week taking place?
The event is held at Dubai Design District. The largest creative festival in the area, this six-day event features design from a variety of fields, such as architecture, furniture, interior design, product design, and graphic design. The theme for Dubai Design Week is ”Tawila” meaning “table” in Arabic.
How to reach Dubai Design District?
By Bus– The Dubai Design District and the Burj Khalifa/The Dubai Mall metro station are connected by the dedicated bus route F13. To get there, board one of these buses.
By Dubai water taxi– Alternatively, take a Dubai water taxi and ride to the Dubai Design District station for a more scenic experience.
