Dubai Canal Run
Get your running shoes ready because the countdown is on for the Dubai Canal Run on February 25, 2023. Sign up for this fun race that will take runners on a scenic route along the Dubai Canal. The run is open to runners of all ages and abilities and is a popular event for residents and international visitors.
The Run event features a 10-kilometre distance race to test yourself and a beginner to advanced 5-km race. Casual runners can take part in a 3km course. There is also a 1 km run where children can join in. Parents can complete the 1 km run with their children for free. Oman Insurance Company P.S.C. (“Sukoon”) and Bupa Global are the organisers of the event.
The race usually takes place in the early morning hours and starts and ends at the Dubai Canal Boardwalk. The course is well-marked and marshalled. The runners can avail of support from aid stations and medical teams along the route. Participants will receive a medal and a T-shirt. There are prizes for the best finishers in various categories.
