Adventure land Dubai – The name signifies a venture into excitement, new horizons and new experiences. Such was the driving spirit behind the creation and vision of what is now one of UAE’s premiere family entertainment centers.
Adventureland began as a collaborative venture between CEO Glenn Figueroa of Gulf Leisure and Entertainment Network, a pioneer in the Philippine entertainment business, and Shahram Foroughi, President of Edifice, a design and management consultancy group specialized in leisure projects. Together they put up FunQuest Corporation, the company commissioned by Al Itharah Amusement Centre, LLC to do the concept, design, management and operations of a family entertainment center which was to be the showcase in Al Itharah’s major industry offering, Sahara Centre, one of the top leisure and entertainment malls in Sharjah.
The then 60,000 square foot premier family entertainment center opened its doors in February of 2002. With more than eleven years of providing quality and innovative leisure, Adventureland enjoys a high level of customer patronage from a highly diverse multi-cultural mix.
Now more than ever, Adventureland comes out strongly this JULY 2014 with new first-time thrills and attractions in the region, some of which are — the first indoor 2-level GO KARTS, and the region’s first MOTOCOASTER, a multi-level rollercoaster loop on motorbikes. Having expanded into 70,000 square feet of entertainment space, it has now significantly increased the quality and quantity of its offerings, making it one of the largest and best indoor theme parks in the region. Furthermore, it re-launches with a totally new look and feel – showcasing an exciting JUNGLE THEME with innovative designs, animal characters, icons, murals and a unique lighting & sound design to complete the jungle theme ambiance.
Surely, Adventureland stands out among the best designed indoor theme parks in the UAE region and tops the ranks as having the most innovative and highest quality thrill offerings in the region.
