When is the event?
The Sharjah Light Festival (SLF) runs for 13 days, illuminating the city every evening from February 3 to 15, 2026. Whether you’re planning a quick visit or an entire evening of entertainment, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy all of the spectacular light shows.
List of the locations
The festival’s artistic displays will take place across major landmarks, including the iconic Al Noor Mosque and the Sharjah Mosque, University City Hall, and Al Majaz Waterfront . These structures will be massive screens of detailed light patterns that will celebrate traditional Emirati motifs and architectural beauty. Tonight’s technical trials at these major landmarks ensure that every detail of the projection mapping is spot on for tomorrow’s grand opening ceremony.

Even though the light festival ends up after 13 days, Light Village will stay open until February 22, so you have many chances to visit and even come back for more fun. SLF Light Village timings:
Sunday-Wednesday- 5 PM to 12 AM
Thursday-Saturday- 5 PM to 1 AM
