Sharjah New Year Fireworks- Welcome 2026 with a massive New Year’s Eve celebration
Sharjah is preparing to welcome 2026 with a massive New Year’s Eve celebration that will include fireworks, family entertainment, and interactive experiences throughout the emirate. The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), in collaboration with the Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), has announced a comprehensive New Year’s Eve 2026 programme, which will include three 10-minute fireworks displays at three key locations: Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, and Khorfakkan Beach, with Sharjah bringing communities and visitors together for an unforgettable countdown.
Al Majaz Waterfront
This vibrant location will set the tone for an evening of musical enchantment, including live saxophone and violin performances. At midnight, a breathtaking five-minute fireworks display will illuminate the night sky, creating a stunning scene against Sharjah’s skyline. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of dining options, with 20 restaurants covering a wide range of cuisines.
Al Heera Beach
At Al Heera Beach, synced LED performances, fire performances and live saxophone tunes will entertain visitors. A ten-minute fireworks display rounds out the festivities, providing a stunning start to the new year. With 17 food and beverage shops along the 3.5km coastline, participants may enjoy delicacies from all over the world while taking in the exciting ambiance.
Khorfakkan Beach
The picturesque Khorfakkan Beach will host an incredible variety of entertainment, including laser displays, rolling LED characters, and captivating EL wire performances. Visitors can select from 21 dining options, ranging from local specialties to foreign cuisine, ensuring a feast for the eyes and palate.
New Year Under the stars- Mleiha National Park
Celebrate the New Year in a really spectacular environment at Mleiha National Park, located deep in the heart of the UAE desert. New Year Under the Stars is a unique overnight desert event that includes live cultural performances, guided stargazing, family-friendly activities, and immersive historical experiences. Enjoy a celebratory buffet dinner under the open sky, celebrate 2026 with a magnificent fire countdown.
Al Noor Island
A unique New Year’s Eve party at Al Noor Island will include a meal on the beach with views of the fireworks at Al Majaz Waterfront. The event can accommodate 120 people and costs Dhs340 for adults (ages 13 and up) and Dhs150 for children (ages 3 to 12). For families and guests, it’s a special and unforgettable New Year’s Eve event that incorporates a stargazing experience of Sharjah’s sky.
More venues to celebrate the new year can be found in other popular family attractions such as Al Qasba, Al Montaza parks, The Flag Island, and Heart of Sharjah, which all provide a variety of exceptional world-class experiences.
