Manar Abu Dhabi 2025- 1 November 2025 to 4 January 2026

Khai Hori, Artistic Director, is in charge of organizing Manar Abu Dhabi 2025. This edition of Manar Abu Dhabi incorporates modern artworks that react to light’s presence, behavior, and resonance in both natural and technological forms and expressions, drawing on the Gulf’s ancestral connection to light. Light is positioned as both a guide and a medium, as the theme “The Light Compass” implies, from contextualizing its navigation traditions to orient seafarers and desert nomads to inspiring poetic modes of knowledge and interaction through its ephemerality.
