Saudi National Day 2023
Saudi National Day 2023 is celebrated on September 23rd, known locally as Al-Yaom-ul-Watany. It marks on September 23rd 1932, when King Abdulaziz announced the unification of the country as a kingdom. In each year it is a chance for the Saudi citizens to indicate their pride in the nation and celebrate their cultural heritage. The roads and buildings were decorated with Saudi flags and amused with folk dances, songs and traditional festivals.
Sunday will be a public holiday as a compensation if the National Day falls on Saturday. Moreover If the National Day falls on Friday, there will be holiday on Thursday.
