Sharjah opens ‘Shees park’ in Khorfakkan

Sharjah opens ‘Shees park’ in Khorfakkan, was inaugrated by Sharjah Ruler, His Highness, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi on 15 October, 2020. It embraces tall mountains, and provides visitors and tourists a unique tourism experience to discover and enjoy the atmosphere of the mountainous regions.
The park is located on an area of 11,362 square meters and receives its visitors with an artificial waterfall of 25 meters high that flows into the lake surrounded by stone paths and formations of stone sessions. It was completed in eight months. There is an amazing mountain walkway of three mountain terraces connected by stone stairs leading to the main viewing platform at a height of 30 meters from the main park level, and it provides an exceptional experience for viewing the natural sights of the region from great heights.
The park includes several paths of 506 meters long surrounded by palm trees, a group of local plants, play area, 32 shaded seats, and an outdoor theatre that accommodates 70 persons and a barbecue area.
