7th Gulf Film Festival (GFF) is a non-profit annual cultural event that celebrates and encourages excellence in Arab cinema; it aims to transform and expand the opportunities for regional filmmakers, whilst serving as an international destination that shines a spotlight on the very best of cinema and creating a forum for Arab filmmakers to develop alliances with major studios worldwide. This festival engages both professional and up-and-coming filmmakers with key competitions that encourage them to press on in the field of film and inspire others to take up the art of film-making in the Middle East. The GFF has now moved to DUCTAC at the Mall of the Emirates.
