1 – Al Seef – Free. Tue Dec 31. Al Seef, Deira.
Al Seef is a placein Bur Dubai with old-style buildings, traditional dhows and a lovely creek, the waterfront promenade is a great place to welcome the New Year. Take a seat or just have a stroll and you’ll see fireworks here.
2 – Arabian Ranches Golf Club – Paid – Head to Ranches Restaurant at the Spanish Colonial Clubhouse for a view of the nine and 18 greens – and the fireworks that will dance in the sky come midnight.

3 – Atlantis Dubai – There are 2 options here. Watch fireworks for free while standing on the footpath opposite Atlantis or pay for options by booking in the restaurants.

5 – Bab Al Shams Desert Resort – There are paid and free options here. You can enjoy the fireworks for free, just pick your favourite spot in the desert around the hotel to watch the spectacle. 6 – Burj Al Arab Jumeirah – To make it easier on the pocket, find a spot at the beach to watch the iconic NYE spot is the Burj Al Arab for their annual fireworks.
7 – Burj Khalifa – The event named Emaar NYE at Burj Park will cost Dhs300 per adult and Dhs150 for kids aged 5 to 12, while those under 5 are free. If you are brave enough to battle the crowds, you will still be able to rock up to Dubai Mall and find a good point to watch the fireworks. 9 – Dubai Parks and Resorts – The location will celebrate the New Year with its laser show followed by fireworks at 7pm and 9 pm. It’s Dhs15 to enter Riverland Dubai, which is redeemable on food, drinks and attractions. Entry is free for Annual Pass Holders and guests with a valid ticket to Motiongate Dubai, Legoland Dubai Theme Park, Legoland Water Park, Neon Galaxy or JUMPX.

10 – Dubai Festival City Mall – The mall, home to a giant IKEA, is turning host for New Year’s Eve. Get your shopping done ahead of the show and turn your eyes up for a dazzling display.

11 – Emirates Golf Club – Head to the lawns of Emirates Golf Club between 8pm and 1am on New Year’s Eve for a gala event with fireworks. Ticketholders can expect plenty of food and drink and a line-up of live performances including George Michael, Bruno Mars and Pink tribute acts.
