RAK College of Dental Sciences (RAKCODS) is an integral part of the RAK Medical and Health Sciences University (RAK MHSU). The college vision is to be a leading dental teaching centre in the UAE dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence by fostering, disseminating and applying knowledge and intellectual values to ensure an enriching future for the stsudent community and preparing them to join the dental and related health sciences field of the 21st century. The college mission is to offering academic programs in dental sciences, to prepare graduates who are able to develop critical skills in their practice and application of knowledge, equipping them with practical and clinical skills and knowledge and enabling them to make a valuable contribution to patient and health care as individuals and as responsible members of society.
- Course Detail:The college offers Course Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). It is a four years full time Degree Programme.
- Course Duration:3 – 4 Years
- Admission Criteria:The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Aggregate of 80% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in UAE National General Secondary School Examination (NGSSE) or its equivalent with minimum of 70% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually, or equivalent from any recognized board. Selection will be based as per the university norms.
