Hatta Honey Festival 2017 – Events in Dubai, UAE
The quiet hilly village of Hatta on the outskirts of Dubai shot into the limelight with the opening of the UAE’s first Honey Festival. Beekeepers will be showcasing different varieties of natural honey products made in the area and wider region.
The event is being organised by Dubai Municipality and will bring together an international gathering from the honey industry. It is part of a wider initiative to improve services and tourism facilities in the area. The festival will also have a number of other events like tent shopping, gallery for honey product families, lectures by specialised lecturers from the UAE and the Arabian Gulf, and scientific sessions in the field of beekeeping.
