Ingredient aroma competitions, taking place from September 11-17, will offer foodies a chance to sniff out some great prizes by testing their knowledge of exotic ingredients. Visitors will additionally be able to browse through and buy a wide range of exciting food and beverage products from display stalls set up across the mall.

‘Treat’ – the BurJuman World Food Fest 2012 will also host insightful workshops on the art of table setting and dining etiquette led by Finishing Touch – Dubai’s premiere etiquette and protocol academy. Visitors can pick up handy skills such as napkin folding, creative plating, and international dining etiquette that will give the presentation of their meals that professional touch.

On September 17, the International Centre for Culinary Arts Dubai will provide world-class culinary training to visitors. Featured amongst the Top 10 culinary institutes in the World, ICCA Dubai will showcase educational workshops at ‘Treat’, for those seeking to pursue cookery as a hobby or life skill.

The food fest will conclude with another highlight on the city’s culinary calendar – the coming together of more than 350 chefs in a live competition conducted by BurJuman in association with The Emirates Culinary Guild to battle it out from September 18-22 for the title of BurJuman Junior Chef 2012.
