The temple in Abu Dhabi is a Hindu religious place of worship. The most significant part is that this temple is the first traditional Hindu stone temple in the Middle East.

HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan and the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi signed the memorandum of understanding in Presidential Palace on 10 February 2018 allocating the land to build the temple in the United Arab Emirates. BAPS (Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha) is in charge of bringing this project to fruition.
