Play: Mughal-e-Azam on Jan 30th – Feb 1st at Dubai Opera, directed by the renowned Feroz Abbas Khan, features a spectacular stage production of K. Asif’s great movie. The play narrates the timeless love story of Prince Salim who openly declares his love for a court dancer, Anarkali, and who leads a rebellion against his father, the Mughal Emperor Akbar, who refuses their relationship. Mughal-e-Azam is an extravagant display, with a talented cast & crew, costumes by Manish Malhotra, lavish sets, colourful costumes, flowery verses, soulful music & excellent choreography by Mayuri Upadhya.
