Abu Dhabi Festival March 2019 is a leading celebration of arts and culture in the Arabian Gulf. The event will feature more than 100 events, in 25 venues, 543 international artists, with 17 participating countries, more than 18 productions, 2 co-productions, 2 commissions, 6 Arab world debuts.
The central theme for this year is ‘Culture of Determination’. It joins hands with “Special Olympics World Games 2019” held at Abu Dhabi Zayed Sports City (UAE Capital) on 14th to 21st Marth 2019. Special Olympics World Games 2019 is the largest sporting event ever held for sportsmen and women with intellectual disabilities.

One of the major activity of Abu Dhabi Festival is a month-long celebration of arts and culture of a particular country representing as Country of Honour. The Country of Honour for 2019 is the Republic of Korea.

The main Arts & Cultural Programmes are held on:
- March 7 – Korean National Ballet – Giselle. A timeless romantic ballet in two acts presented by Korean National Ballet artists.
- March 8 – Korean Symphony Orchestra. This long-awaited concert will feature three pieces: Young Jo Lee’s Arirang Festival for Orchestra, Franz List’s Piano Concerto No.1 in E-flat Major, S.124 and Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No.8, Op.88.
- March 11 – Justin Kauflin. Piano extraordinaire Justin Kauflin will perform will perform pieces from his new album, Coming Home.
- March 15 – Tosca. This carefully crafted concert production thrillingly recreates the passion and drama within Puccini’s iconic opera.
- March 21 – Sombras by Sara Baras. Shadows (Sombras) is a show created to mark the 20th anniversary of the Sara Baras Flamenco Ballet Company.
- March 29-30 – The Paris Opera Ballet – Jewels by George Balanchine. A full-length, three-act, plotless ballet that uses the music of three very different composers, Jewels was inspired by the artistry of jewellery designer Claude Arpels, and the music cleverly reveals the essence of each jewel.
