GAMES13 is the sixth edition of the Middle East’s biggest video game show.
GAMES13 is sponsored by regional industry giants such as Microsoft Xbox, Pluto Games, Red Entertainment Distribution and Sony PlayStation, GAMES13 is a three-day extravaganza where video game enthusiasts get an opportunity to play, and watch demonstrations of the most anticipated games from the world’s leading international video game publishers and manufacturers. The Gaming Alliance Middle East was formed in 2008 by Microsoft Xbox Gulf, PlayStation Middle East & Africa, Pluto Games and Red Entertainment Distribution. Collectively, these companies represent the major brands and players in the global video game industry.
While PlayStation and Xbox are the two major video game hardware platforms in the Middle East region, software publishers represented include Activision Blizzard, Capcom, Disney Interactive, Electronic Arts, Konami, SEGA, Take 2 Interactive, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and their associated brands and labels.
In 2008, the GAME committee embarked on a project to create an annual show that would give video game enthusiasts a peek into the most exciting and anticipated games and hardware technology in the world.
The show was received very enthusiastically by the community and since then has grown into a much anticipated feature on the region’s gaming calendar.
