The latest addition to Downtown Dubai’s host of attractions, the world’s first hydrogen – powered tramway, has arrived and is currently being tested, Emaar Properties has announced.

“With so many world-class attractions in one square kilometer, visitors and residents needed a convenient mode of transit that provides them seamless connectivity while assuring a leisured pace,” said Ahmad Al Matrooshi, managing director of Emaar Properties.
During the first phase of its operation, the tramway will travel through a distance of one kilometer, but it will eventually cover seven kilometers across the 500-acre Downtown Dubai.
