Dubai Desert Triathlon 2015
Dubai Desert Triathlon 2015 is back to Dubai with their third edition on March 13th, 2015 at Dubai International Endurance City. It is expected to be a real entertainment event in Dubai.
All athletes must be aged 16 and over for cyclist, runner and triathlete. 14 and over for endurance horse rider.
History
Nearly 400 athletes were part of history in the making as they competed in the first ever Dubai Desert Triathlon at Dubai International Endurance City on April 19 2014. The world first event brought together the triathlon disciplines of cycling and running with the traditional Emirati heritage sport of endurance horse riding.

Thursday 12 March– Pre Race Briefing & Race Pack Pick Up
DIEC, Time TBC
Friday 13 March – Race Day
4:00-5:30am Athletes to take equipment to transition
5:30-5:45am Athletes briefing (mandatory)
5:45-6:00am Athletes prepare to race
6:00am Trail runners start; Mass Start
6.25-6.45am Trail runners return (T1)
Transition to cycle route
7.25-8.15 am Cyclists return (T2)
Transition to endurance riding
9:15-10.15am Endurance riding returns

What are the acticities in that day?
- Running: 5 KM desert trail, transition at DIEC
- Cycling: 50 KM on the Al Qudra Cycling Course, transition at DIEC
- Endurance horse riding: 40 KM looped track
What are the winner prize categories?
- Open Team 1st, 2nd and 3rd
- Individual Male Triathlete 1st, 2nd and 3rd
- Individual Female Triathlete 1st, 2nd and 3rd
